Step into Cape Cod history at Bentwood by the Sea, a grand 1902 seaside estate nestled on six private wooded acres along the Wing’s Neck peninsula. Designed by architect John Lavalier, this 10-bedroom retreat offers 250 feet of private beach and sweeping views of Buzzards Bay.
Wake to ocean breezes and birdsong. Watch stunning sunsets over the Cape Cod Canal from the wraparound piazza, and spend your days swimming, sailing, or digging for clams in the shallow tidal flats.

Enjoy your own private beach access with gentle slopes and safe, swimmable water. Please keep in mind that our shores are rocky, so swim shoes are highly recommended! An anchorage area is available for small boats.
Three Kitchens
We have three kitchens! One 1980s kitchen off the original butler’s pantry with all standard appliances including a dishwasher, plus two smaller kitchens, both with ovens and refrigerators.
Remote Work Possibility
While we highly recommend unplugging and spending time with loved ones, we have multiple desks set up throughout the house and free WiFi you can connect to for remote work.
3 Living Rooms
The main living room connects to our dining area, but there’s a smaller living room in the West Wing, as well as a seating area in the East Wing.

The house has 9 bedrooms in three distinct wings. There are 10 twin beds and 6 double/king beds to sleep up to 22 guests.
4 Baths
Each of our bathrooms has a tub, and three of them feature original clawfoot tubs! Soak away the sand and worries.

Enjoy everything that Cape Cod has to offer in the summer! Explore charming Cape towns like Falmouth, Woods Hole, Hyannis, and Provincetown. Day trips to Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, or Boston are within reach. History buffs will love Plymouth Plantation and Aptucxet Trading Post.
